Flanges Manufacturing Process

Flanges Manufacturing Process

The Flanges Manufacturing Process is mainly divided into forging, casting, cutting and rolling.

Casting flange is a generally used flange technology, which has the advantages of high production efficiency and low production cost, and is vey suitable for medium and low pressure pipelines.

The casting flange is made of iron filings. After the iron is melted, the molten iron is poured into the mold, cooled, and processed. In Some procedures are to pour the molten iron into the mold and heat it in the forging after molding.

Cutting process is a process refers to manufacturing flanges by cutting stripes from the middle plate and then rolling them into round shape. This Cutting process is mainly used for the manufacturing of large flange. After all other processes and rolling process, weld and then compress the round shape, and finally process the serrated spiral finish and bolt hole.
